The Village Choir is a 150+ community choir co-directed by Claire Butterfield and Oliver Swain that rehearses Tuesday nights at St Andrew's Presbyterian Church on Douglas at Broughton. Our repertoire for this concert includes music Pharrell Williams, Neil Young, Kacey Musgraves Fleet Foxes, Miriam Makeba and Oliver Swain.
Special guest for this concert is Sam Lynch, a Vancouver based singer-songwriter and musician, who makes wallflower hush-rock songs that will stare you down and slow your breathing. Her latest record "Outlines" is out now.
Our band for this concert features Ashley Wey, Tyler Lieb and Damian Graham.
