The Royal College of Podiatry (RCOP) London District Branch are delighted to inform branch members that the next meeting will be held on Weds 2nd April 2025 from 7pm at One Park Crescent, Central London. There will be no meeting in March 2025.
We are delighted to welcome Mr Chris Steeples who will present on ‘The Use of Verrutop in Management of Verrucae’
Chris Steeples is the Chairman and Founder of Espère Healthcare Ltd, the UK Distributor of Verrutop. A physiologist by training, Chris has over 40 years’ experience in marketing and training within the pharmaceutical industry, both in the UK and abroad.
He was the individual responsible for identifying and introducing Verrutop into the UK market and over the past 5 years has developed this product in the fields of both Foot Health and Sexual Health where the product is now recognised in the National Guidelines for the management of genital warts.
Whilst not a podiatrist himself, Chris has gained a wealth of experience through countless training sessions and discussions with podiatrists at meetings, conferences and one-to-one sessions and can give valuable insights into the practicalities of verruca treatment, a review of the current clinical evidence plus some hints and tips on Verrutop usage in particular, all in a light and entertaining manner.
In the last year, Chris has spoken at the Foot & Ankle show, the West Midlands Podiatry Meeting and as a guest speaker at a recent Canonbury Education evening.”
He will be supported by Mr Harinder Gill, Business Development Manager of Espere Health who will have a trade stand present at the meeting.

Registration begins: 7.00 pm.
Non-RCoP members are welcome to attend meetings subject to a £10 admission fee. The Branch have a list of members which can be checked. If you are a member please bring along your RCOP Membership number (some regular attendees we definitely know are members).
