About this Event
Our annual holiday party is our biggest fundraising event and social gathering of the year, bringing together urbanists from across the region to celebrate The Urbanist's work and advocacy wins. Join us on Tuesday, December 9 at The Collective in South Lake Union for an evening of community, connection, and building momentum heading into 2026. Your ticket supports The Urbanist’s independent reporting and advocacy for a more equitable, sustainable Seattle
Enjoy great company, local art, festive drinks, and hearty appetizers while mingling with elected officials, advocates, and fellow urbanists. The Collective offers a welcoming lounge space, nooks for smaller conversations, hammocks, and even a small bouldering wall for those seeking a little physical activity.
VIP doors open at 5:30, General admission at 6:30.
The VIP reception includes conversation with The Urbanist publishing team, board members, and endorsed electeds as we discuss 2026, advocacy opportunities, and the future of urbanism. VIP tickets include access to the general admission portion of the event.
General Admission includes heavy appetizers and drinks, and runs from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Our general speaking program will begin at 7:30 pm. Mingle with fellow Urbanists, meet activists, city planners, and elected officials, all working to make our cities work for everyone.
