Three free family showings at 1pm, 3pm, and 5pm—The Trout Who Found the River : A Musical Field Journal is a whimsical musical play blending live music, storytelling, and nature-inspired imagination for audiences of all ages. Featuring original songs by Brooklyn-based, award-winning composer Jonathan Woody, inspired by folk traditions, the story follows a trout’s journey through rivers and landscapes, revealing the interconnected world of water, wildlife, and people. Young audience members are invited to participate through listening prompts and musical field journals, encouraging them to observe, draw, and respond creatively to the sounds and stories of the natural world.
