About this Event
Since 2011, the Weldon Literary Moot has brought together law students and legal professionals for a night of creative, often hilarious, legal theatre.
This year, the court will hear the trial of Frankenstein's Monster. Is the Monster guilty of M**der? Or is he really the victim of another crime?
All proceeds from this event support the work of Halifax Humanities. For over 20 years, Halifax Humanities has provided free and accessible university-level classes in literature and philosophy to adults who face significant barriers to higher education. We connect economically and socially marginalized people to an intellectual community so that they can enjoy the benefits of increased self-confidence, cultural literacy, and social engagement.
Tickets will also be available at the door. Payment by cash or cheque only at the door.
