About this Event
A San Diego native, Todd Hunter was immersed in the language of jazz piano from childhood, eventually honing his craft within the world-class music scene of New York City. During his time in New York, he had the privilege of performing alongside and learning from jazz masters like Joe Henderson, Tommy Flanagan, and Mel Lewis. Now based back in Southern California, Hunter continues to explore diverse musical adventures that span the coast and the globe.Beyond his solo work, Hunter is a premier collaborator who has spent years touring internationally as the pianist for the legendary Dionne Warwick. His impressive resume includes performances with icons such as Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, and Natalie Cole, as well as features with the Brian Setzer Orchestra. From sharing the stage with Smokey Robinson to performing with jazz greats like Nancy Wilson and Kenny Burrell, Hunter remains a versatile and highly sought-after fixture in the industry.

Where is parking located?
Parking is located under the building, accessible from west of the building off of 1st St. between Bunker Hill Towers and the mini-shopping center AU LAC is in.
Once you’ve turned into the large driveway, turn left into the garage “Guest Parking and Residence Parking of The Promendade”. $12 CASH ONLY.
Additional parking is located directly across Hope St. at Disney Hall - 111 South Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90012. $10.
There is limited street parking in front of Au Lac, Disney Hall and The Music Center.
