Explore the meaning of community and the ways music brings people together. This concert will feature the premiere of three new songs composed by Music Director Dwight Bigler that are set to poems by the late renowned poet, activist, and Virginia Tech Professor Emerita Nikki Giovanni.It also celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Blacksburg Children’s Chorale, inviting BCC alumni as special guests along with with founding director Patrice Yearwood and current conductor Tim Woolwine.
There will be two performances, both at the Blacksburg Presbyterian Church:
