Give back to your garden with a touch of handmade charm.May 6th and 20th at 5:30pm
Join us for a creative, hands-on workshop where we’ll be crafting bee blooms—small, ceramic flowers designed to hold just enough water for bees and butterflies to drink safely.
In this session, you’ll learn the basics of hand-building with clay as we sculpt a set of four unique ceramic flowers. These aren't just decorative; they are functional garden art. Their shallow basins allow bees to land on the edges or "petals" and hydrate without the danger of deep water.
What to Expect:
Hands-on Instruction: We’ll guide you through pinching and shaping techniques to create organic, floral forms.
Customization: Texturize your petals and choose from a variety of "bee-friendly" glaze colors (bees love blues, purples, and yellows!).
The Process: You’ll create your set of four in class. We will then dry, fire, and glaze them for you to pick up in 2 weeks.
No prior pottery experience is necessary! Just bring your creativity and a love for your local ecosystem. By the end of the class, you’ll have a beautiful, functional addition to your garden that the bees will thank you for.
