Jams 101: Getting In, Getting Out, Having FunJam circles are fun and should be for everyone, but they can feel stressful in the moment. In this workshop, we’ll break down jam-circle etiquette so you can jump in with confidence at socials and events. We’ll cover the “unwritten rules” that keep jams friendly and safe: reading the energy, choosing a good moment to enter, and exiting smoothly so others can join too. You’ll practice simple, musical ways to contribute: supporting your partner, keeping the flow moving, and cheering on the room. We’ll wrap up by putting it all into practice with a friendly jam at the Hopspot after the workshop.
Level
This workshop is for SiU levels L2, L3 and L4 - Esther & Juan will make sure the workshop is inspiring for all of you! You can sign up without a partner, but since it's nice to jump into a jam circle with someone you know, we encourage registering with a partner
