As part of Black History Month and in memory of 6 years of Hanau, we would like to invite you to a Peer Talk & Community Forum on February 19, 2026.

Many of us work in a climate where DEIB is becoming both more urgent and more pressured. Political signals are shifting, legal debates are intensifying, and organizations are responding with rebranding, cutbacks, or “pause” narratives. At the same time, we continue to experience discrimination, exclusion, and growing polarization in society and in our roles as employees.

The Impact Company and Impact Hub Berlin invite DEIB practitioners, consultants, organizers, and activists to an open peer talk and exchange.

What's this evening about?

Culture war, policy & politics update: What does the current pressure on DEIB mean?
Predictions for 2026: Which developments are realistic and where is it worth staying calm?
Use Cases & Best Practices: What is really working right now?
Showcasing Practitioners: Short “spotlights” from the community: 3–5 people each share a specific learning (a format, a sentence, a tool, a fail + fix) in 3 minutes.
If you are a practitioner and would like to give a short spotlight (3 minutes, low pressure): a sentence that is currently relevant / a measure that works / a boundary that you draw.

Yolanda Rother (The Impact Company) in conversation with DEIB consultants and practitioners, including:

Safir Boukhalfa, Founder and Executive Director at Safir Boukhalfa Consulting. Safir Boukhalfa serves as Executive Director and Founder of Safir Boukhalfa Consulting. In the role of DEI Consultant they partner with organisations to embed equity and inclusion across practices. Their background spans Change Management, Education, Business Coaching and Community development. They bring a perspective that recognises intersectionality and systems dynamics as key to true equity.

This meeting is not a panel in the traditional sense.

It is a space for reflection, solidarity, and honest exchange:
