Time is not linear, but cyclical. In ancient Indian thought, time is governed by a process known as the pralaya, wherein the manifested universe moves through four distinct times, each characterized by a different spiritual energy. Creation begins in the satya-yuga - or Age of Truth, and ends by the kali-yuga, or Age of Darkness. According to Indian thought, we are now in the age of the utmost darkness. This is an age wherein we will, according to prophecy, see the destruction of all societal structures. There will be widespread corruption and war, state leaders will govern their people through lies, people will turn away from truth and start worshipping demonic forces, and money will be treated as divine. Yet, the kali-yuga is also an age of hope, wherein spiritual practice is more powerful than ever. It is said that in the kali-yuga, there will arise a mini-golden age, not in the world, but in the collective field between certain people. These people will hold a level of awareness that together will protect them from the corruption of the wider world. Moreover, this group is said to establish a sacred kingdom on the earth, wherein genuine seekers will be protected, and from where a saviour will arise, who will lead the forces of the gods in the last battle against the powers of darkness. At this event, we will explore what the ancient sources - drawing from all traditions - teaches us on how we can ensure that we stand on the side of light.
Time is also governed by astrological cycles - which the Ancient Indian wisdom traditions refer to as jyotish - the Science of Light. Recently, we exited the Age of Pisces and entered the Age of Aquarius. The movement of the planets in the sky influences the energetic ecosystem of the earth. On this topic, astrologer Alexandra Lysøe will lecture on the symptoms and possibilities of the Age of Aquarius: how we can understand this shift of cosmic energy, and how we can ride the waves of change to our advantage, rather than drown in them. You will receive a lecture on the important planetary movements in 2026 - how you can prepare for these shifts, and how you can work in cooperation with the cycles to come.
The event will consist of an introduction to the Age of Aquarius by Alexandra Lysøe, along with an astrological forecast of the year to come. Thereafter, Henrik Lysøe will lead us in the study of the different prophecies of the kali-yuga, drawing primarily on the kalachakra-prophecies of buddhism, the vedic texts vishnu-purana and srimad-bhagavatam, with some references to biblical prophecy. We will study how the prophecies of these ancient texts are coming true all around the world, and how we can ensure that we remain spiritually protected in these times of turmoil. This event aims to provide a spiritual context to much of the chaos and destruction we see around us in the world, and offer solace and guidance for navigating through it.
The evening will culminate with a Ganesha-Puja, a ritual to the elephant-headed protector deity said to destroy all obstacles. We will invoke Ganesha in the traditional manner in order to ensure that our natural purity and compassion stays protected through the turmoil of our times, and to destroy all hindrances we have to growth, peace and safety. People are kindly asked to bring flowers, sweets and incense for this ritual. The ritual will be led by Henrik and Alexandra, and all participants will be invited to join in for the mantras and offerings.
We hope you will join us for a special evening wherein we learn how to spiritually navigate into the future!
