About this Event

Last summer, we hosted an event around the theme of poetry and spoken word. It featured a full day of poetry performances from some of the biggest local / national names on the scene, professional poetry workshops, vendors, small businesses, and community organizations. The response we had from the South East community was very positive as we had over 1500 attendees!

On August 27th we are building on what was started last year by hosting THE first ever South East Community Arts and Business Festival (SECAB)! Through the collaboration of Art, Business and the Community can expose residents east of the river to…

• Potential Business Opportunities and Connections

• Access to Community Resources and Information

• Local and Legendary Street Art Showcases / Performances / Skills

• and Concentrated Workshops to Build your own skills.

Through your support we can create an event which celebrates and encourages EVERYONE of all ages, and backgrounds to collaborate, to connect, and most importantly be exposed to the resources our community has to offer. Our vision is to turn this into THE annual end of the summer community festival.
