𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲, 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐲 𝐩𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐠𝐲, 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐧𝐞'𝐬 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.
The workshop is aimed at everyone, both for seasoned bodies and for those who are not movement and sound professionals.
The intention of this workshop is to establish connections in the body, to open new paths of movement, to be sensitive, mobile and available for exchange and change.
I will propose a framework and protocols from dance and sensory practices to support us in our exploration and connect us in confidence. »
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 “𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞” 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐚 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲.
To favor breathing in order to establish connections between the different energy centers and for the voice to take shape.
Discover individually and collectively a polyphonic and polyrhythmic dimension of the body.
Concretly
• 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤: by learning techniques to mobilize the different parts of the body linked to the voice (breathing, posture, opening of the rib cage, etc.) which allow you to develop ease in using your body to sing and play;
• 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: by developing the ability to listen attentively to one's own voice and that of others, by practicing exercises to improve reception and freedom of suggestion;
• 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠:
polyphonic work by developing the ability to sing in harmony with other voices and how to deploy oneself in a vocal ensemble.

Late Owl 200 eu / 900 PLN after 28.12.2024
Guarantee of place is payment in full with a non-refundable deposit of 60 eu / 260 PLN. In case of cancellation two weeks before the workshop start date, the rest of the fee (110 eu / 490 PLN) will be refunded only if you find another person for your place. In case of cancellation later than two weeks before the workshop start date, the fee is non-refundable.

FATOU TRAORE
Eclectic and mixed artist, insatiable explorer of movement and sound, improviser, performer and/or choreographer, singer and musician. She has been active on the Belgian scene since 1989; she danced among others for Cie Rosas (A.T de Keersmaeker), Nadine Ganase, Claudio Bernardo, Johanne Leighton, Ballets C de l'AB with Alain Platel, and Koen Augustjinen, Joji Inc, Opiyo Okach, Michèle anne de Mey, Nicole Mossoux…
She signed her first choreography in 1995 and founded her company F.T.1x2x3 in 1999.
From On the Wave, sur la Lame to Kénédjé around twenty pieces have been created.
The multiple projects in varied forms in which Fatou Traoré is involved, express the incessant desire to experiment with life, to create links and meaning, with dance and music as the main vehicles.
Alternating intimate and spectacular pieces, his choreographic journey has also encountered that of Contemporary Circus Arts.
Since 2012, with choir director Dounia Depoorter, she has co-directed Patshiva Cie, a choir of 30 women who sing and dance (“Where the Chaos of Angels Reigns” 2012-2016).
She has been giving dance workshops for 30 years in Schools, Academies and Dance Centers in Europe.
