The Silly William Gambit: Limited NYC Run at the Producers Club Theatres - The Sonnet Theatre
"For at the end of this train ride, Silly William, you are going to die, and I am going to K*ll you. But in the meantime, I am bored, and there is chess; so why not play?"
Eccentric chess prodigy Silly William finds himself on a train bound for Hell (or Philadelphia, as it is known in some circles). When a mysterious entity that only plays the four-move checkmate attack hears of Silly William’s skill, it offers him his freedom if he can manage to defeat the entity in a best of seven chess matches. Fortunately for Silly William, he has dedicated his entire chess career to specifically refuting the four-move checkmate attack. And he will teach it to you now like his soul depends on it.
Straight off its run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Silly William Gambit will debut in NYC for a limited time. Get your tickets now before they run out!
