"Elevating Body and Running Awareness"This unique (and first) two hour workshop is hosted by local and well-established fitness professionals Miranda Jankowska and Leanne Avery, for runners who are wanting a better connection with their body and running.
The workshop consists of two parts:
◾60 minutes of run specific Pilates lead by Miranda. Within this hour, you will focus on moving with ease, releasing tension, identifying your soft tissue and muscular health and specific movements to enhance your stability and strength.
◾60 minutes of running technique drills and skills, lead by Leanne. Within this hour, you will learn the different elements of technique, the reasons behind those elements and specific technique drills that will enhance your running efficiency.
All equipment will be provided (mats and spiky Pilates balls), but if you have your own, please bring it along!
All abilities and experiences welcome.
