The Ruckus Revival

The Ruckus Revival is a legendary underground showcase filled with uncensored circus, raucous stand-up comedy, scorching burlesque, stunning pole performance, freestyle rap and hip hop, aerial performances, beat-boxing, slam poetry, jaw-dropping sideshow, dirty haiku bouts and audience-interactive mayhem in a fast paced night of unfiltered entertainment!

Winner of multiple "Best of the Bay" awards, and called "consistently the most spectacular event that Oakland's ever seen" by the East Bay Express, the SF Chronicle calls Ruckus "a dazzling, inspiring and celebratory display of talent" and "a tent revival for misfits and freaks, those whose artistry or spectatorship has a homespun bent and a bandit streak."\

Every show features an entirely new lineup of underground superstars, hungry newcomers on the rise and the audience themselves are often invited onstage to become part of the show!

Hosted by Jamie DeWolf (HBO’s Def Poetry Jam and NPR's Snap Judgment) and Wonder Dave (Mental Health Comedy Hour) with DizzyfromEarlier, Little Glitter Bomb and the beat-boxer Syzygy!
