The Ruby Gayla is an evening of Black advocacy, artistry, and community held in recognition of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.
Hosted by the WELL.YES Philadelphia Taskforce, this event centers Black LGBTQIA+ communities through creative expression, reflection, and collective care. The evening will feature a highlighted guest artist, community acknowledgments, and space to honor resilience, remembrance, and joy.
This is a celebratory and affirming gathering designed to uplift community while recognizing the ongoing impact of HIV on Black communities.
