It is the return of In Lieu, the first show since the launch of "In Lieu of Lord", the debut album.At the tail-end of 2025, a quadruplet transgender band released a local oddity, a piece of music made entirely outside of any traditional means or opportunity. They recorded it in a humble basement, for free, between dayshifts, school periods and regular naps. This kind of production is unheard of in this local economy - with The Arts Hall and The Rat Palace gone, we are without DIY recording/rehearsal spaces, cutting off cheap studio access for local, young bands. Despite this, In Lieu persists. "In Lieu of Lord" will be available in CD format at this event. Please come and support local music, without each other we have nothing.
