No One asked for it, but we decided to make it happen anyway. This August we'll be launching the inaugural Queen City Sizzle.
Q: What's this all about?
A: It's an all new event in the Charlotte area that will be a massive Scavenger hunt around time with a time limit.
Q: Tell Me More:
A: Sure! The event will officially start at 4:30pm at Lower Left Brewing, where you and your team will get the information sheets. Bikes launch at 5 and hit as many points as possible. If your team hits the most points, you win... as long as you follow the rules.
Q: Teams you say?
A: No individuals. We're doing this to keep people safe. It's likely going to be hot, maybe really hot. 2-4 heads should be better than one.
Q: I hear this is put on by 2 or more of the people who put on The Triple Dip, will this just be a party?
A: While this will be hosted at Lower Left Brewing and there will be an after ride get together for a few hours. We don't promote ripping through the streets, greenways and trails of Charlotte in full party mode. However, if you're looking to just hang out at the brewery all evening, we could use some volunteers.
Q: Lower Left has a small lot, right?
A: Yes, No one from Queen City Sizzle should park in their lot unless they're volunteering. Message RJ if you plan on this. Let's let them keep their lot. You'll all have bikes, the extra mile it will be to park somewhere won't K*ll you
