The Pink Stones har sedan deras hyllade debut med 'Introducing... The Pink Stones' tillhört toppen av den nya unga countryrock-generationen som på senare år gett oss namn som Teddy & The Rough Riders, Sean Thompson's Weird Ears och The Nude Party. Deras kosmiska country-rock landar någonstans mellan västkustens Flying Burrito Brothers och Poco och söderns Sir Douglas Quintet och Lynyrd Skynyrd. Grunden är country, rock, och soul möter indie, gospel och psykedelia. Härom året kom suveräna uppföljaren 'You Know Who' via Americana-labeln New West/Normaltown och innehåller gäster som Nikki Lane och tidigare nämnda turnépolarna i Teddy & The Rough Riders.
“This record was me trying to take everything I love as a listener and a player and shove it all into one thing without it sounding random”, säger låtskrivaren Hunter Pinkston om albumet som beskrivs som "a brilliant mix of classic Country and Indie Rock" av American Highways. The Pink Stones tillhör idag ett av de populäraste livebanden under SXSW på klassiska honkytonks som White Horse, Sam's Town Point och Sagebrush där namn som Margo Price, Charley Crockett, Sierra Ferrell och Daniel Romano hänger så fort de får chansen.
