This initiative is designed to provide choirs and singers of any background with the opportunity to develop skills in the art of a cappella ensemble singing. At the heart of this program is founder and director of The A Cappella Academy, and former member of The King Singers, Timothy Wayne-Wright. Over the two-day program, participants will get to experience multiple workshops that tackle specific vocal and performance-based techniques associated with all genres and styles of a cappella singing.
This program also provides the opportunity for like-minded a cappella singers to connect and to be exposed to not only the local talented choirs but also a variety of a cappella repertoire.
