We’re very sorry to share that Taverham Nearly Festival 2026 has been cancelled.
Ticket Holders have been fully refunded, and we will be back in touch soon with options for you to receive a complimentary ticket to another event as a thank you for your support.
This has been an incredibly difficult decision for us to make, rising event costs alongside lower-than-expected ticket sales mean that going ahead would unfortunately result in a significant financial loss—something we simply cannot sustain as organisers.
What makes this especially hard is that this is our local event —one we care deeply about and were so excited to bring back to the community. We know many of you were looking forward to it just as much as we were, which makes this news even more disappointing to share.
We also want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you.
We truly appreciate your support over the last 4 years and for buying your tickets early—it genuinely makes a huge difference to events like ours.
Early support is what allows independent events to go ahead, and the industry relies on it now more than ever.
We also wanted to be transparent about one of the key challenges we faced:-
As a local event, it was very important to us to keep ticket prices at a level that felt fair and accessible for our local community. However, with event costs rising so significantly across the board, it became increasingly difficult to strike that balance. Ultimately, despite our best efforts, it proved impossible to maintain affordable pricing while covering the true cost of delivering the festival.
Please don’t let this experience put you off supporting or buying tickets early for events in the future. Your support plays a vital role in keeping events like this alive, and we hope to be able to welcome you again under better circumstances.
