Join us in Mile Cross, Norwich, for a free one day 'Introduction to Permaculture' workshop! 185 Drayton Rd is a former shop now run as an activities hub by the Common Lot community theatre company, while the nearby community garden at Burges Road has been transformed from an area of waste ground into a biodiverse growing space by local people. Includes 'What is Permaculture?', 'Web of Lfe' and 'Plant Guilds' activities - Steve Land (Norwich Plant-hub), Burges Road garden talk/Q and A - Nik Thomson (Edible East) and Permaculture Design exercise wth Paul Lucas (Norfolk Organic Group and Browick Road Community Orchard). Veggie/vegan lunch provided , cash donations welcome on the day.
