We will be parading at the 140th Durham Miners Gala; the world's greatest celebration of community, international solidarity, and working class life.Last year more than 150,000 people packed the streets of Durham to enjoy the sights and sounds of The Big Meet, we were cheered on by People from across County Durham, the country, and further afield.
This year we will assemble in the Market Place at 8:00am, our designated entry point into the parade, from here we will parade past the Magdalena steps, across the Elvet Bridge to pass the balcony at the Royal County Hotel and then onto the Racecourse.
Once again we will be joined by relatives of the International Brigade volunteers and our usual friends and supporters led by the immaculately dressed Lorrain and Sean.
Like last year we will also be joined by members of the the Associazione Nazionale Partigiani d'Italia UK -ANPI UK ( https://anpi.org.uk/en_GB/)
