The Native Street Team, in collaboration with the Middle Tennessee Chapter of the National Action Network, invites the community to attend an evening focused on civic education and informed participation in the upcoming judicial election. This event will begin with a Community Education Workshop designed to help residents better understand how the court system operates, what judges can and cannot do, and how the judicial branch impacts everyday life. The session will also include information about voter registration and voting rights restoration.
Following the workshop, attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from candidates running for local judicial offices during a Judicial Candidate Forum.
