Medicine that can change the world starts right here in Erie. Don't miss the exciting kickoff of a new series spotlighting the groundbreaking changes in women's health being pioneered locally. Hear from Michael Annicine, CEO of the Pittsburgh-based Magee-Womens Research Institute (MWRI), who will explain hard truths about the state and history of women's health and why a branch campus of MWRI was launched in Erie; Halina Zyczynski, MD, Medical Director for MWRI in Erie, will share goals and progress of the Erie campus as well as the early outcomes it is creating; and, Ralph Ford, Ph.D., Chancellor of Penn State Behrend, will explain the key partnerships driving innovative, student-led research and what it means for Erie's future. Attendees will leave informed about the work underway, why it's important—locally and globally—and how to support it. This series is in partnership with Magee-Womens Research Institute and the Hamot Health Foundation.
