Born in Germany, Hans Zimmer became famous with ”Rain Man” and has since helped numerous Hollywood megahits achieve success and dramatic-emotional impact, including ”Mission Impossible II”, ”Gladiator”, ”Pirates of the Caribbean”, ”Interstellar”, and ”Batman”. Hans Zimmer received his eleventh Oscar nomination in 2018 for the soundtrack of Christopher Nolan’s ”Dunkirk”.
The audience will learn about interesting background stories, such as how Hans Zimmer passed an anti-apartheid message in the lyrics of a song for ”The Lion King” in the native language, telling Disney Corporation it was about butterflies.
