About this Event
About the Book
The Colour of Twilight is the final novel of acclaimed Singaporean Sinophone writer Yeng Pway Ngon, recently translated by Jeremy Tiang. A portrait of an aging and widowed Sinophone writer goes through his daily routine as he reflects on his life, wondering if he wasted it writing Sinophone literature, in a now predominantly Anglophone city.
The book can be found in NLB as well as most local bookstores. It is eligible for purchase using SG Culture Pass credits.
About the Modern Man's Book Club
Hosted by Isaac and Zubin, the Modern Man's Book Club is a book club that aims to explore male experiences and issues through the lens of literature. Through book discussions, we hope to build some understanding of what it means to be a man in this modern age.
