The Mindful Matcha Experience is a two-hour journey into presence, ritual, and sensory awareness, blending ceremonial matcha, mindfulness practices, and sound healing into one immersive evening. Set under the energy of the full moon, this experience is designed to feel both enriching and enjoyable, offering a refreshing way to slow down, engage your senses, and reconnect with yourself in a more intentional way.
We begin the evening with Dr. Calvin Ng, who will introduce the medicinal qualities and historical roots of matcha, sharing how it has been used for centuries not only for its health benefits, but as a gateway into mindfulness and focused awareness. The evening is meant to spark curiosity and give you a new perspective on something many people already enjoy, but may not fully experience.
From there, the experience becomes hands-on as you are guided through a ceremonial matcha ritual using high-quality ceremonial grade matcha. You will learn how to prepare your matcha with intention, paying attention to the small details that are often overlooked. The texture, the temperature, the movement, and even the stillness between each step become part of the experience. What is usually a quick routine transforms into something calming, engaging, and surprisingly enjoyable.
Through the simple act of preparing and enjoying matcha with intention, you are shown how small, consistent practices can create a sense of steadiness and calm within your day. Rather than something reserved for special moments, this experience offers a practical way to turn ordinary routines into meaningful rituals that support clarity, focus, and a more grounded way of moving through life.
We then ease into a longer, deeply integrating sound bath led by Kyle Lam. After the sensory and interactive elements of the matcha ceremony, this portion of the evening allows everything to settle. The layered resonance of crystal singing bowls, planetary gongs, and grounding instruments creates a space where the body can fully relax and the mind can soften. It is here that the benefits of both the ceremony and the sound begin to integrate, supporting a state of calm, clarity, and internal balance.
By the end of the evening, you leave feeling both nourished and reset. There is a lightness that comes from slowing down, a clarity that comes from being present, and a deeper understanding of how small, intentional moments can shape the way you move through your life. This experience is designed to be both meaningful and enjoyable, offering something you can carry with you long after the evening comes to a close.

Cost is $65 a person | 2 Tickets for $120
At the minimum, please bring the following:
- Yoga mat
- Pillow
- Blanket
- Eye cover
- Water
- Wear warm and comfortable clothing
We will have a resident tarot reader offering tarot readings for this event as well. Feel free to arrive early to receive a reading or receive one after the sound bath concludes.
