About this Event
Learn about science and geometry through the eyes of artists, from bending wire inspired by Calder’s mobiles to interpreting shapes from drawings in metal and clay. This hands-on class teaches concepts such as spatial relationships, balance, patterning, geometric forms, and kinetic energy through creative exploration.
Judy Malone-Stein will guide participants as they experiment with these techniques and discover how artistic practice connects to scientific thinking. All ages are welcome to join for an evening of making art and learning a new skill.
Please park in the surface-level lot or TMC3 Garage located at 1885 Old Spanish Trail, Houston, Texas 77054.
