About this Event

Artists Against Apartheid & The Midnight Hour Collective present: a poetry reading series centered on domestic and global liberation. Come gather in community to read and listen to poetry centering Black liberation and the liberation of Palestine, Sudan, the Congo, and an end to American militarism.

All proceeds for Series 1 go to the Oakland People's Arms Embargo & Anti-Police Terror Project.

Our March reading will feature TBD.

Writing workshops every 2nd Sunday. Readings every last Sunday.

Both of these spaces seek to prioritize and uplift the voices of Black, Brown, Indigenous people as well as members of the disabled and queer communities. If you are a member of one or multiple of those communities especially, pull up!
