The Middle East in Review: One Year After October 7th

Scholars and experts on the Middle East will convene for a roundtable on “The Middle East in Review.” The date is Tuesday September 24, at the Korbel School of International Studies, University of Denver, Maglione Hall at 5:00pm. Food will be served.

The roundtable will review and assess the Israel/Palestine and regional conflicts since October 7, which have had major repercussions for the region and beyond. These experts, two of who have just returned from the Middle East, include:

• Dr Ahmed Abd Rabou, Teaching Associate Professor of International Studies, Associate Director of the Center for Middle East Studies, at the Korbel School of International Studies, University of Denver (main facilitator)
• Gary Grappo, US Ambassador (former) Distinguished Fellow, Center for Middle East Studies, the Korbel School of International Studies, University of Denver
• Dr Micheline Ishay, Professor of International Studies, and Director of the Center for Middle East Studies, the Korbel School of International Studies, University of Denver
• Dr Aaron Pilkington, US Air Force Analyst on Iran.
