Tickets on Sale Now!On a country estate in 19th-century Russia, the widowed Madame Larina lives with her two daughters: dreamy, bookish Tatiana and lively Olga, who is courted by the poet Lenski. When Lenski introduces his friend Eugene Onegin, Tatiana is instantly captivated. That night she pours out her feelings in a heartfelt letter, but Onegin gently rejects her, offering only friendship and warning her not to be so open with her emotions.
Months later at Tatiana’s name-day celebration, Onegin, bored by the festivities, flirts with Olga to provoke Lenski. The friends quarrel and, despite their regret, fight a duel in which Lenski is killed. Years later, Onegin encounters Tatiana in St. Petersburg, now married to Prince Gremin. Realizing too late that he loves her, Onegin begs her to elope, but Tatiana, though confessing her feelings, refuses to betray her vows, leaving Onegin alone in despair.
