About this Event
This workshop brings together leading thinkers and writers from philosophy, media studies, and literature to answer the question: what—and how—does AI mean? How will it change the way that writing feeds back to the stories we tell ourselves about who we are as a species?
The symposium aims to take a broader view than the panicked politics of a science fiction plot, and examine the concrete cultural and media dispositions of really existing artificial intelligence today.
Speakers include: Hannes Bajohr, Anastasia Berg, Nan Z Da, James Duesterberg, N. Kate Hayles, Patrick Jagoda, Jeffrey Kirkwood, and Leif Weatherby.
