The Massage Workshop - Oakland

In this Two hour hands on workshop you will learn basic strokes and techniques on how to massage your partner for at least 20 minutes or more without your hands cramping or straining your muscles. This is not a couples only workshop anyone is welcome with or without a partner. Be prepared to give and receive a great massage. Prior experience is not necessary just come with a positive attitude eager to learn. Additional massage lotions, tables, creams, oils, massagers etc. will be available for purchase.

The purpose of this event is to not only have some fun but to learn something new that you can use on a loved one or a significant other and help them feel better. This might be a deciding factor as to whether you want to purse this as a lifelong career or not. And if all else fails at least you can take this information and these skills and properly give a half hour massage to your significant other at home.

Come dressed casual loose fitting clothing is preferred. Ladies we encourage you to wear bikini swim tops underneath your clothing that way it’s easier to access your neck, back and shoulders, however; it is not required. We want you to be as comfortable as possible and get away from the everyday tension and stresses; even if it is short lived!

Now after this class you will not be a certified or licensed massage therapist that education requires ways more than a 2 Hour class or workshop however you will be able to provide a good massage without injuring yourself or others.

FAQs

Will you get undressed?

That is totally up to you, and at your discretion and comfort level. The class is taught with & without clothing. If you were to undress it would only be the upper body (from the waist to the ear) that’s why we request you wear loose fitting clothing and swimwear underneath your clothing such as bikini tops for the ladies and tank tops or t-shirts for the men.
