The Marios Toumbas Trio Thursday 22 January and every Thursday at Sarah’s Jazz & Blues Club.Get ready for sheer jazz excellence as the Marios Toumbas Trio takes the stage.
Pianist Marios Toumbas returns to Sarah’s Jazz Club with long time friends, collaborators and Berklee co-graduates Irenaeos Koullouras on double bass and Ioannis Vafeas on drums and special guest Katerina Leah on vocals.
They will perform jazz standards and some original music.
Toumbas has performed in hundreds of concerts in many countries including the Montreal Jazz Festival in Canada, the Dusseldorf Jazz Rally in Germany and the Blues North City Festival in Serbia. He has appeared at the Royal Festival Hall in London, Sun City Music Hall in Johannesburg South Africa and Megaron Mousikis in Athens. He has been an instructor of Jazz history and improvisation at European University Cyprus since 2009.
Catch them every Thursday night, sometimes joined by special guest artists for an extra spark of music magic.
