Two great bands for you at the Dragon!The Mandela Fx
Mandela Fx are a 4 piece Welsh Psychedelic, neo psyche, garage, post punk, rock band formed in Wrexham , North Wales. Dale (drums) and Michael (Bass) played together in previous bands and met Shaun (Guitarist) in a jam session. Carl (Synths, keys and whacky stuff) has since joined the band completing their unique sound. Expect big fuzz guitars, drones of feedback, heavy bass lines, monstrous drums, echoed and soaked in reverb vocals blended together with trippy synths and melodic keys. Stitching together psyche rock, garage and post punk experimentalism The Mandela FX brings you a raw and unique sound.
Roadside assistance
We are Roadside Assistance and we’re an independent alternative rock band with elements of Midwest emo and Shoegaze inspired by grunge and folk but most of the time it’s hard to define our sound as we always try to push stylistic boundaries to their limits. We have Freya on drums, Joel on bass, Pav on guitar and Igor on vocals/guitar. Our musical worlds are different individually but when we’re together we merge those differences into what is Roadside Assistance.
