Jenna Herbut - Make It Founder
Jenna Herbut is the founder of Make It, one of Canada’s largest and most loved handmade markets, held once a year in Vancouver at the PNE Forum and in Edmonton. For over 17 years, she’s helped thousands of artists and makers grow their businesses and share their creativity with the world. What started as a small idea has evolved into a national movement that celebrates creativity, connection, and community.
She’s also the author of Make It Happen, a book that inspires entrepreneurs to turn passion into purpose. Jenna believes that when people are supported to express themselves authentically, they don’t just build successful businesses—they build belonging.
In addition to Make It, Jenna founded Conscious Lab, a sanctuary for visionary entrepreneurs and leaders in Vancouver. Through her work, she continues to weave together creativity, consciousness, and community to inspire a new way of doing business—one rooted in heart, purpose, and human connection.

Chelsea Shih - Mosaic Motif Handmade Jewelry Owner
Chelsea is the creative mind behind Mosaic Motif Handmade Jewelry, a brand that brings colourful, playful, and artistic detail to every jewelry piece.
Combining her love for colour, texture, and storytelling, Chelsea transforms Shrinky Dink into vibrant miniature artworks. Each design is drawn from sketch, cut, shaped with heat, and sealed with a UV finish, turning everyday inspirations into wearable art.
Chelsea founded her handmade jewelry brand in 2022, a time when many believed it wasn’t ideal to start a small business after COVID. She began to join lots of physical local markets like Make It. As her designs gained recognition and loyal customers, she expanded into more than 10 permanent shelves with Makers and later launched her own online store.
Her brand continues to grow steadily, fueled by creativity, dedication, and a genuine love for handmade craftsmanship.
