Exhibition Opening & Artist Talk:The Magnificent Land of Wonderous Things

Based on the Fraser Coast, Kym Cunningham is an award‑winning sculptor known for transforming recycled and everyday materials into immersive, playful artworks that spark curiosity and wonder.
Kym is also the 2025 Avant‑Garde Category winner at the Australian Wearable Art Festival, and this exhibition brings her distinctive cardboard practice into the Gallery in a vibrant, hands‑on way.

Celebrate the opening of the exhibition alongside the artist, Gallery staff, and community. Light refreshments will be provided.
Artist Talk
Kym will share insights into her creative practice, her love of cardboard as an art material, and the ideas behind The Magnificent Land of Wonderous Things.
