Holdenby’s “Magic of Easter” event has become the county’s most popular way to celebrate the Easter Holiday and this year it’s even more magical!For a start you’ll find a magician in the grounds with all sorts of amazing tricks up his sleeve.
Alice in Wonderland will be here, hiding eggs for you to claim, including each day our famous Golden Egg containing £200, once again Alice will be joined by The Queen of Hearts and this year the Mad Hatter returns.
There will be face painting, Rose Painting, Alice Trail plus more for all to enjoy.
There will be wonderful displays by Icarus Falconry & Wildlife Centre on the lawn and a chance to get up close and personal with the birds of prey and animals, including Alice’s favourite’s, Roxy the Fox, Norma the Hedgehog and Kit & Kat the Polecats.
There will be a Mini Easter Market for a little light retail therapy. If that all works up an appetite, you can satisfy it with hot food from our Food Court or scrumptious cakes from our Old Stableyard Tea Room.
If you come on Easter Monday, the house itself, once the largest in England, will be open for you to explore its amazing history.
