Celebrate the creativity of young artists at the Annual Mabel B. Annis Student Art Competition! Open to 7th–12th grade students from Bartholomew, Brown, Greene, Jackson, Johnson, Morgan, and Monroe County schools, and home-schooled students under a licensed art teacher, this competition showcases incredible talent across six categories: Painting, Drawing, 3-D, Print, Photography, and Video.This year, professional artist and teacher Israel Solomon returns as our judge. Israel, a member of the 18 Art Collective, will not only evaluate the artwork but also inspire students with a talk on turning a love of art into a career and share examples of his own work.

Over $14,000 in cash prizes were awarded last year
$250 IHA “Teacher of the Year” awards in both Junior and Senior High Divisions
