About this Event
You are cordially invited to attend The (M) Factor 2, a film exploring perimenopause symptoms, solutions, and real women’s stories.
From the producers of the groundbreaking documentary The (M) Factor comes The (M) Factor 2: Before The Pause (Perimenopause), a powerful new film continuing the vital conversation about women’s hormones, health, and the changes that shape this stage of life.
About The M Factor 2 Film- Hidden Reality: Before the Pause shines a light on perimenopause the often ignored decade before menopause that disrupts women’s health lives and sense of stability
- Dismissed Symptoms: Women are frequently told their symptoms are psychological or insignificant even as they struggle at work at home and in daily life
- Workplace Impact: The film shows how perimenopause affects careers from classrooms to firehouses where systems are not designed to support women’s bodies
- Medical Blind Spot: Doctors openly acknowledge gaps in training and knowledge that leave patients without clear answers or effective care
- Power of Early Awareness: By pairing personal stories with leading experts the film makes a compelling case that early education and recognition can transform women’s health careers and identity
Blending expert insights with women’s real experiences, the film looks at how perimenopause affects your heart, bone, brain, and sexual health, and the solutions helping women thrive through it.
This screening is hosted by Anastasiia Neelagaru, MD and Sunel Vanderwalt, PT, DPT.
Dr. Anastasiia and Sunel are long-time women’s advocates and educators. After the film, there will be a Q&A opportunity and we will talk about how we are supporting women in midlife and how we all get to advocate for our healthspan and sexspan.
Together, we’ll explore perimenopause, an often-misunderstood stage of midlife that can begin years before menopause and impact women physically, emotionally, and mentally.
This event has a small fee to cover the expenses of the venue. The host is not profiting from this event financially.
We look forward to bringing together women and their male partners who wish to learn more about perimenopause and menopause.
This screening is independently hosted in partnership with The (M) Factor.
The film is produced by Women in the Room Productions and Take Flight Productions.
Check-in starts at 5:30 PM, and the screening will begin promptly at 6:00 PM. Please arrive on time so you can order your food and meet our panelists. Once the screening begins, we will not allow late entry. The film screening will be followed by an interactive expert panel discussion.
