"If you’re a fan of Track Dogs you’ll love this!" Folk Ace Radio
As heard on BBC Introducing, The Lost Notes are an award winning 5-piece Folk/UK-Americana band from Moseley, Birmingham, renowned from for their energetic, joyous live shows with songs rooted in “three-part vocal harmonies that would make even a Beach Boy sit up and take notice” (At The Barrier)
Their songs range from the emotive to the light-hearted; covering the plight of bankers, greaseballs, snakes, Greco-Roman health and safety failings, mules, mermaids and the downright miserable.
The band are currently touring their third critically acclaimed studio album “Good Luck Shoes”, at venues and festivals around the UK, Spain and Portugal.
Recent performances across the UK include two sell-out shows at Birmingham Symphony Hall [Jennifer Blackwell Stage], Moseley Folk Festival and Beardy Folk Festival and concerts in Spain and Portugal. In 2025 they return to Birmingham Symphony Hall [Jennifer Blackwell Stage] before embarking on gigs across the country including a return to Shrewsbury Folk Festival, Costa Festival, Portugal and many others.
"A live show by The Lost Notes is something marvellous to behold. The band’s enjoyment of, and engagement in, what they’re doing is detectable in their every note, their every tone, their every beat, their every lyric. Some bands have the ability to take hold of a room, turn it upside-down and inside-out and send everyone on their way feeling revitalised and elated. The Lost Notes have that ability – if they’re playing near you anytime, don’t miss them!" At The Barrier [2025]
"The Lost Notes are, without doubt, one of the most exciting bands to have crashed onto the UK Folk scene in years. Superb three-part harmony, beautifully scripted songs, impressive professional musicianship, explosive stage presence and bags and bags of on-stage energy that radiates from them to you and anyone else who is lucky enough to be standing within 100 metres!" Woodman Folk Club [2025]
