Join world-renowned organist Roger Sayer on a celestial journey celebrating the music of Christopher Nolan’s groundbreaking film, ‘Interstellar’. Over the course of the evening, St Mary's will reverberate to the glorious sounds of the building's epic pipe organ as we journey through space and time in music from Holst's 'The Planets, themes from 2001: A Space Odyssey, and the music that Roger Sayer helped to create for the blockbuster film, 'Interstellar'.Audience members will learn how Sayer became involved with Hans Zimmer to create the iconic soundtrack to the film, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions about Sayer's life and work.
