This course offers a blend of lectures, practical applications, and experiential learning.A transformative yoga teacher training focused on the practice of therapeutic touch and building trust through hands-on guidance. Explore the intricacies of individual bodies and their unique stories, learn to create a safe space, and delve into the principles of assisting āsanas with intention.
During this training, we will engage:
- Understanding the complexity of individuals and their body stories
- Establishing safety through touch
- Exploring the five assisting principles
- Applying intention in specific āsanas
- Differentiating between Energetic touch and Therapeutic Touch
- Practicing verbal assists and multiple hand positions
- Learning connection-based practices for healing through touch
- Working on standing postures, Sun A & Sun B sequences, hip openers, backbends, Crow & Headstand poses, and closing postures
Fri 9-3 (lunch together)
Sat 9-6 (lunch on our own, 1-2pm)
Sun 9-6 (lunch together in meditative silence)
23 hours of registered YA CEU’s.

Soozie's words of purpose are deep intimacy, commUNITY, and connection are important to her. She strives to create a space of support for the student to access the place inside them that feels intimate and true. She has committed her life to spiritual, energetic, and healing practices.
She cares about helping herself and teaching others how to do the same. She weaves vinyasa, chanting/mantra, dharma, qi gong, and yoga nidra in a way that feels holistic. Soozie takes you on a healing experience that will transfer into the student's life embodying yoga.
