Ash Bates is an alternative folk artist from Shropshire. His songwriting explores the self, the challenges we face as humans and the transmutation of those into new rites of passage. Finding inspiration within artists such as Justin Vernon, Nick Drake and Leonard Cohen, the music evokes a similar but individual, somewhat electronic style.
Royalty X- A Nigerian-born English man, who has the experience of two worlds, with the experience of Fuji and Afro centric music in his home city of Ibadan fused with English hip-hop, R and B and gospel. After immigrating to the UK, Royalty X was influenced by artists such as Usher, KC and Jojo and the Boys 2 Men group. The mixture of all these influence real flourished during Royalty X time at church, where he played percussion instruments; here he fell in love with Rhyme, choirs and how good music brought people together.
hearthy is a British singer-songwriter who has been penning tunes since 2010 in her unique indie-folk style with ethereal vocals. Think Billie Marten crossed with London Grammar and Holly Humberstone and a dash of Joni Mitchell. hearthy is also a multi-instrumentalist and can be found playing guitar, violin, viola and keys in her original music. To date she has two singles released:
Dead Rat Society- What started as a half joking, experimental bedroom project, pulling influence from Prog Rock and old school horror movies, quickly evolved into something that demanded to be shared. unique, adrenalizing, and desperately danceable. Fronted by multi-instrumentalist Ed Harris, channelling millennial angst with offbeat cultural witticisms, and joined by co-producer Ben Potter, bassist Connor Firmston, and drummer Will Pinhey, the group has quickly built a reputation for explosive live shows that have thrilled, sold out, and almost shaken-to-the-ground some of the most prestigious grassroots venues across the country.
TOBITHEFREAK is a South London-born Nigerian artist, producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist, carving out a unique sonic space with his self-coined genre, “moody blue” (alt-electronic R&B). Unbound by traditional classifications, he blends elements of electronic soundscapes, soulful R&B, and alternative experimentation whilst adding a bounce intrinsically synonymous with black music.
I’m Ellissé a 19 year old singer songwriter from East London. I typically sing jazz or Rnb but I dabble into any genre. I’m always willing to perform and I do perform on a regular basis so it is almost second nature to me. I love to put on a show, engage the crowd and just have a great time. I would love the opportunity to perform at this event and any upcoming ones.
Matisse- I have performed as a solo act for many exclusive events and venues in Monaco (Sporting - Salles Des Etoiles, Hotel De Paris, Automobile Club, Yacht Club, Private clubs...) at the Cannes Film Festival, in Switzerland, demand for Dubai...I was also a Semi-Finalist on TV Show 'TheVoice'.
