About this Event
Both the Viola and the Clarinet are somewhat underrepresented on the concert stage, but both are soulful, poignant, and highly emotive instruments. Bringing them together in one performance is sure to give way to an inquisitive, experimental, and moving concert experience. The evening will feature Lin Ma, Principal Clarinetist with the National Symphony Orchestra, and Luosha Fang, winner of the Tokyo International Viola Competition. The heartfelt Eight Pieces for Clarinet, Viola, and Piano by Max Bruch will be the centerpiece of the evening.
While the concert starts at 7pm, we invite you to arrive as early as 6pm for a reception with light hors d'oeuvres and beverages prior to the concert.
