The Listening Room by J. Fields is an intimate, high-fidelity vinyl listening experience created for people who value presence, intention, and sound.
This is not a party.
This is not background music.
This is a shared listening ritual.
Each session centers around a single album, played in full on vinyl, through a carefully curated sound system, in a room designed for stillness and attention. Phones are put away. Conversation pauses. The music leads.
Vol. 1 features Brown Sugar by D’Angelo — an album meant to be felt from beginning to end, uninterrupted.
The experience takes place high above the city at the Columbia Tower Club, creating space to slow down, settle in, and listen together.
What to expect:
- A seated, intentional listening environment
- A full album playback on vinyl
- No phones, no recording, no chatter during playback
- Candle-lit atmosphere and elevated sound
- A small, limited-capacity audience
