Rooted in rural Bengal, Bawuls believe the human body is a temple of divine power. They believe that music is the path to connect with it. Their philosophy emphasises kindness, humanity, and unity. This transcends religion, race, and materialism.
Despite the relevance of their teachings, modern society often misinterprets their message. This documentary highlights the essence of Bawul life and beliefs. It shows how compassion is central to their mission. We bring their story to life. Original music and dance performances use traditional Bawul instruments. This sheds light on their deep spiritual practices and message of harmony. This is not just a cultural presentation. It is an invitation to experience a philosophy rooted in love, peace, and the inner journey of the soul.
About the company: KrishnoChura was founded in 2015 by British Bangladeshis. They promote Bengali culture through music, dance, poetry, and literature. They are partners with the University of Manchester on Bengali folk music workshops
