About this Event
May 18th - The Black Box - The Laugh Chapel Comedy Club RELAUNCH
The Laugh Chapel was established in 2023, and after a run of incredible shows raising thousands for local charities while making people laugh at the same time, we took a break. But now we're back, in an even BIGGER and BETTER venue than before.
This time round, we have an all star lineup of comedians coming together to raise funds for the charity Sands - a charity supporting those who have been affected by baby loss.
May 18th will be an evening filled with music, joy and laughter. There will be an amazing raffles with prizes donated by local vendors and custom TLC Merchandise for sale. All profits from ticket, the raffle and merchandise sales will be going straight to the charity.
The line up includes:
Colin Murphy - NI Comedy Legend and Star of "the Blame Game" on BBC
Dave Elliott - Bafta Nominated, star of "Blue Lights"
Ciaran Franco - BBC New Comedy Award Semi - Finalist, viral comedy sketch sensation
Tommy McCarthy - Recently performed the SSE Arena and featured in BBC Documentary "PUNCHLINE: Fighting for Laughs"
Teresa Livingstone - Star of "Tell Teresa" on BBC Radio Ulster and host of "scundered" podcast
Alan Irwin - Star of BBC "Soft Border Patrol" and co-host of long-running comedy club "K*ll your Darlings"
Lianne McCooey - frequent podcast favourite and Newry legend
Cathaóir O'Hagan - Recently featured on BBC as the first comedian to perform in every county in Ireland within a year
